Being a traditional studio photographer locked inside four artificial walls is, frankly, stupid! We live and breathe in the most beautiful place on earth. Why track mud inside a boring, artificial room when we are surrounded by the most incredibly beautiful mountains in the world right here in Western North Carolina? The answer is we don't. Many local parks, including the ones on the "Blue Ridge Parkway", offer the best backdrop that money can't buy!

At Photography on the Roll, we reject the limits of a fixed studio. We bring a full professional studio setup directly out into the real world. Whether capturing crisp professional assets or timeless personal landmarks, we utilize the breathtaking natural scenery of our mountain home to give your photos unmatched depth and authenticity. For nearly 30 years, we have recorded countless weddings, reunions, corporate events, asset photography including catalogs, hotels, bed and breakfasts, retreats, Civil War reenactments, modeling head shots and portfolios, and much more. All on site, capturing the beauty of the natural surroundings.
